Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp guide – how to get every holiday item

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp’s first big holiday event got under way this week. Players can now craft exclusive festive items and collect fun santa outfits. It’s a great way to get into the holiday spirit. The only catch is, you only have 25 days to take advantage of it all. Once Christmas is past, the event is over, whether you’ve collected everything or not. 25 days gives you plenty of time to collect everything, though. The TouchArcade Show Rewind: A 2012 Interview With Zach Gage

I’m in London right now for the Clash Royale world championships, and had planned on doing this real cool podcast focusing on mobile esports based on my experiences here… Then the reality of hotel WiFi kicked in. I’m currently rocking around 50% packet loss, which has made even posting these week-ending posts borderline impossible. So, we’re running a rewind. This one is a cool one though, originally posted back in May of 2012, we sat down with Zach Gage who most recently is responsible for the fantastic Flipflop Solitaire [Free]. What I think is particularly fascinating about this episode in particular is that Zach is one of the exceedingly short list of indie developers who were around for the early days of the App Store who is still releasing successful games without really needing to diverge much at all from his original titles. He’s still releasing great puzzlers, and his entire catalog is still worth playing- even the old stuff. Original show notes by Brad Nicholson are as follows: On this week’s bonus episode of The TouchArcade Show, Eli and I hit up Zach Gage of Zach Gage fame. You should get to know him. He’s the brains behind one of the best words game on the App Store, and he’s a super opinionated guy who isn’t afraid to have a discussion about games as art or his current...

TouchArcade Game of the Week: 'GRID Autosport'

The idea behind the TouchArcade Game of the Week is that every Friday afternoon we post the one game that came out this week that we think is worth giving a special nod to. Now, before anyone goes over-thinking this, it doesn’t necessarily mean our Game of the Week pick is the highest scoring game in a review, the game with the best graphics, or really any other quantifiable “best” thing. Instead, it’s more just us picking out the single game out of the week’s releases that we think is the most noteworthy, surprising, interesting, or really any other hard to describe quality that makes it worth having if you were just going to pick up one. These picks might be controversial, and that’s OK. If you disagree with what we’ve chosen, let’s try to use the comments of these articles to have conversations about what game is your game of the week and why. Without further ado…   GRID Autosport I’m not a huge racing game fan, and even less so the more a game skews towards simulation style, but in the case of GRID Autosport [$9.99] I was really curious to see how Feral Games’ plan of porting the whole enchilada of Codemasters’ 2014 console and PC racer to mobile would pan out. Well, despite launching this past Sunday GRID has still been consistently blowing my mind...

The best new games we played this week – November 30

We took a break for Thanksgiving, but your favorite weekly roundup is back. It’s once again time to take a look at the best new games that released this past week (or two). There’s a good bit of variety, and the quality is outstanding. There are only four games on the list this week, but they’re probably some of the best games out on iOS this year. Let’s take a look, shall we? [Read more] Go to Source...
